"I have tried every kind of drug and herbal remedy on the market for my chronic insomnia, in addition to hypnosis, acupuncture, and solo meditation. None of these tools were able to remedy the root of the problem--my inability to relax and let go. After a lifetime with no stress-reduction techniques, my body and mind had forgotten how to release tension, and the buildup was ruining the quality of my life, even though I exercised regularly. (I am probably going to get the Relax Quick disc as well, for use throughout the day. I work in a stressful office and live in a city.) I was pretty hopeless and bitter about my insomnia and the medical profession’s response to it.
